1. Export-controlled and classified data
Spindlewise is not built or approved for controlled defence or dual-use technical data. Do not upload, enter or store any of the following, in drawings, models, notes or file names:
Technical data or defence articles controlled under the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Technology or software controlled under the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), other than items designated EAR99.
Goods, technology or software listed on Australia’s Defence and Strategic Goods List (DSGL), or on New Zealand’s Strategic Goods List.
Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), or any information marked with a government security classification.
If you are unsure whether a job is controlled, treat it as controlled and quote it outside Spindlewise. If controlled data is uploaded by mistake, delete it and tell us at [email protected] so we can help remove it from the system.
2. Other things you must not do
Break the law, or infringe someone else’s intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality, including uploading a customer’s drawing you are not allowed to share.
Upload sensitive personal information (for example health information) that is not needed for quoting.
Upload malware, or try to probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission.
Try to access another workspace, another User’s account, or data your role does not allow.
Share sign-in details, or let people outside your business use your workspace.
Scrape the Service, overload it with automated requests, or get around Plan limits.
Resell or rent the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
3. Security research
If you think you have found a security problem, please email [email protected] with details and do not access more data than needed to show the problem. We will not take action against good-faith reports made this way.
4. What we do about breaches
We may remove content that breaks this policy, and may suspend access as set out in clause 6.2 of the Terms of Service. We will tell the workspace Owner what happened and why, unless the law prevents us.
